Heel Pain

Important Message to All Heel Pain Sufferers:

If you are experiencing Heel or Arch pain you are probably not living life to it's fullest. Simple tasks like putting on a pair of shoes, exercise, driving a car, shopping, walking, or standing can be very difficult.

Signs and Symptoms include but are not limited to:

  • Numbness
  • Tingling
  • Burning Sensations
  • Pain with your first step in the morning
  • Dull ache
  • Shooting pains
  • Spasms or Arch Cramps
  • Pain when you get up after sitting

Most heel or arch pain sufferers will immediately turn to pain relief medication Others consult their medical doctor. Usual treatment consists of either a stronger pain relief medication or a muscle relaxor. If that doesn't work, often physical therapy is prescribed.

There is a lot of confusion among health care providers as far as the best treatment for heel or arch pain sufferers.

Here is what most if not all doctors agree on:

Most heel or arch pain comes from incorrect foot movement during walking, running, standing. This causes stress on the heel bone and soft tissue around it.

Unfortunately most heel pain sufferers aren't told the truth about heel pain. That is why the report has been written.

Heel Pain Causes More Than Just Pain

Heel pain causes sick days from work and a disruption in leisure activities. Heel pain can affect normal sleeping patterns and is even known to cause relationship problems. We have all heard people say "when your feet hurt, everything hurts."

Frequent complaints of heel pain sufferers include:

  • Irritability
  • Weight gain
  • Feeling older
  • Sense of helplessness
Heel pain has many causes including: Incorrect foot movement (caused by heredity, injury, bruising, poorly fitted or worn out shoes, excessive weight) arthritis, gout, bursitis (formation of a small fluid sac), neuroma (a growth from a pinched nerve), benign of malignant soft tissue growths, plantar fasciitis (an inflammation of the connective tissue band under the foot).

Heel Pain Can Go Away By Itself

That's the good news!

The bad news is that every heel pain episode that you experience can lead to further degeneration even after the pain goes away.

So it's important to know what to do and what not to do if you experience heel
pain.

Immediately following a heel pain episode apply ice not heat. Heat can increase inflammation and create an environment for the laying down of scar tissue. Never directly apply ice to your skin. Wrap ice in a moist towel or place in a plastic bag. Ice can be applied for 10 minutes per hour to decrease inflammation and decrease pain.

Prolonged sitting can make pain worse. Try to stand and move around for at least a couple of minutes every 20 minutes.

Stay away from caffeine or other stimulants and drink plenty of water,
Visit a podiatrist to assure proper foot ankle and nerve function. Podiatric care is safe and affordable. It can help keep your feet young.

More And More Heel Pain Sufferers Are Going To Podiatrists Instead Of
Their Regular Doctor!

Dr. Maimone is one of a very select few doctors who have been specially trained in this new and advanced pain relieving technique. I have helped hundreds of people walk pain free, without the need for conventional, invasive heel surgery .

Normally, heel spur surgery can take anywhere from a week to several months recuperation before you can resume normal walking or work. In addition, since traditional heel spur surgery often involves cutting the ligament under the foot, your pain can shift to the outside top part of the foot making a bad situation even worse.

Don't wait even one more day suffering with heel pain that makes you dread your first step each day.

Let on of the pioneers in this revolutionary new pain relieving procedure start you on the road to the rest of your life without pain!!!
